Our Firm
The rich history of the firm can be traced back to 1942 when Dominic Farina graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law and opened the first general practice law firm in New Buffalo, Michigan. During the next sixty years Dominic expanded his law practice to include Terry Redamak, who's family owned the legendary New Buffalo establishment famous for its' cheeseburgers. For nearly thirty years Dominic and Terry practiced law as Farina & Redamak. Their firm conscientiously served the legal needs of the citizens of Southwest Berrien County, including those families who vacationed and owned second homes along the Lake Michigan shoreline that later became known as Harbor Country.
In 2004, following the untimely death of Terry Redamak, Dominic elected to join forces with John Wojcik, an attorney who had practiced law in Michigan City, for approximately twenty-five years on the Indiana side of the border. They created the law firm of Farina & Wojcik. With the combination of the two law firms came the opportunity to begin to meld two established practices with very different client bases and cultures. The Farina & Redamak law firm focused more on individual representation and John Wojcik's law firm was more focused on institutional and corporate law.
Farina & Wojcik has evolved as a blend of cultures and styles. The breadth of our practice is not just in small communities. We now regularly represent individuals and business clients throughout the states of Michigan and Indiana.
While our firm may be small, we believe our size acts to our advantage, enabling us to provide efficient and cost effective solutions to our clients legal needs. Every day we strive to effectively represent our clients, be good stewards of their legal affairs and maintain ongoing communication with them.
